Baby Names: Do You Know Your Potential Babies Names Already?

This article had me thinking:

The top baby names list for 2010 was announced this morning on "Today" by the Social Security Administration, and many of the chart-toppers come as no surprise. However, some names that made the list might have been inspired by unexpected trendsetters, including some of the stars of MTV's reality show "Teen Mom."

Surprisingly, the name Joshua didn't make the cut for the first time since 1978.

In addition to the most popular names, the SSA also revealed a list of trending baby names that show the biggest spikes in popularity. Leading the trending girls name: Maci, the moniker of "Teen Mom" star Maci Bookout. Her son's name, Bentley, ranked as number one for the biggest trending name for boys.

Also noteworthy: Knox, one of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's twins, and "Twilight" name Kellen appear on the trending list, too.

I liked the name Hunter since it was my Mothers Maiden Name.

I've known what my first son and daughter would be called for a while.

My first son would be called Valentino (after Valentino Rossi) and my first daughter would be called Victoria (cos I like the name).

For me it is easier to decide on a boy name.

I like Alexander, Michael, Daniel, Leonardo [my grandpa's name], Richard [my other grandpa's name *was going to be mine too], and Kyle [another name that could have been mine].

For girls I don't really like any of the top 10 names.

Maybe something like, Alyssa, Kaitlyn, or Renee [my Aunt's name]?

I guess I'd choose my boy's name and my wife would choose the girl's name.

For a girl, I really Brooklyn Christine. For a boy, Matthew Lucas.

Never considered this.

I was thinking Star cause she'll be Star Deluna. aka Star and the moon.

But i want to name the girls after their dad's like first letter of his name, like my boyfriend's name is Kyle, if we ever have a daughter her name would be starting with a k, Kaylee, Kyla, Kendra. Boys will be named after my first letter which is a M. So Matthew, Michael, and so on smile
