| One of the reasons for WWE curtailing the push of Sheamus in recent weeks is because Kevin Dunn, the organization's Executive Vice President of Television Production, is not a fan of his.
Several months ago on an episode of Monday Night RAW, Sheamus was booked to cower away in fear from The Nexus. This reportedly led Dunn to brainstorm the "King Sheamus" persona, including outfit, as means to mock him.
It's been noted over the years that behind Vince McMahon, Dunn has the biggest say in the company's creative direction.

Sucks for him but he was over pushed before.
I mean he was not the best yet got 2 wwe title runs.

| Meh. Yeah, we all know the Triple "X" H factor in Sheamus' early success; but this leads you to wonder about the actual amount of influence Trips has (or uses) over what's perceived. And how much power this guy has. Not suggesting this guy has more pull--it's just a thought. This whole thing doesn't sound right. All in all, I honestly don't care... just wondering though. | |

| WWE Creative needs to pull their finger out their asses. If King Sheamus was meant to be a mockery of Sheamus then they obviously made a mistake, Sheamus is either really really professional or is taking his role in his stride.
He's not really out of the Main Event scene, so he hasn't really been majorly de-pushed. | |
