Eve Torres's progress

- SmackDown backstage announcer Eve Torres is still training to be a wrestler in Florida Championship Wrestling. She has been doing so for a few months actually, but still has yet to be used regularly in a wrestling capacity in WWE. A few months ago, she appeared in a backstage segment with Vickie Guerrero telling her how much she wanted to be a wrestler on SmackDown. Her feelings in the segment mirror her real-life sentiments, as she really wants to be used as a wrestler in WWE, as opposed to a mere backstage announcer. However, Torres still has a lot to improve on, reports the Wrestling Observer. At this stage, practically every wrestling move she does looks pretty bad. She did not get a good review for her work in a Divas tag match on the 12/12 FCW TV show featuring her, Tiffany & Nikki Bella vs. Alicia Fox, Milena Roucka & Wesley Holiday.

We have enough inexperienced women, we dont need her being brought into matches and make it even more.

I can already predict her generic blonde Diva skills in the ring. I'm guessing Eve will end up like Maria. That's why I hate the Diva Search!!

The only way I can get anyone to hate the Diva Search is to say......Ashley Massaro. Period.

Ashley was the most pushed diva search contestant in the amount of time she was in WWE. She was featured in both wrestlemania matches with the womens champion and had great fueds. The WWE were very high on her, whether you like it or not.

I actually like Eve. i dont know why everyone is so stereotypical assuming that all diva search winners/contestants are automatic fails. Christy Hemme was a decent diva whilst in the WWE and now shes in TNA going for their womens title. Maryse was in diva search + now shes divas champion and everyone bloody loves her. So why cant eve join this list of people eh. i have seen a few house shows eve has been in and tbh shes not that rusty inside the ring. i think she could go far in the business because unlike somee past divas who have been and gone shes actually here to wrestle.

I don't like it. Ashley represented the whole Diva Search by being just another pretty faced generic blonde Diva that can't wrestle her way out of a paper bag but is just anorexic enough to make the cut. That's why I hated the Diva Search in the first place. It gave the Women's Division in WWE a worse name than before.

I hated the Diva Search once I started seeing TALENTED GIRLS! drop like flies, girls like Nidia,Gail Kim, Jazz, Dawn Marie, Jacqueline, MOLLY! It was pathetic to see.

But without the DS I would have never known Layla, Christy, Candice, Kristal, Maryse and Michelle.


I'm torn here

EVE SHAT (yes shat) on ALL THOSE BIMBO'S on smackdown (except Natalya) none of them Jezebels can take a day with her not maria, maryse (I like her), or the bella hookers, she made all them look like shit in her debut match, she showed that she had a lot of potential & skill, she should be the one feuding with the crypt keeper, I mean chapchille, i mean michelle, not maria!

i agree and to be quite honest i reckon she has shut a lot of the critics up...she isnt the best.
but she has put on a better match then i have seen from maria in the past few years..i expect her to do well.....wwe has used this diva search as a way to create a new trish, and although that is seemingly impossible it could happen with the likes of michelle and maryse...and eve if she is used more in the ring....funny how all of those are from SD....we have candice and layla on raw i guess who are diva search people who have shown a slght of talent, layla hasnt had the ring time to show more potential..before anyone goes off on one..but candice has and she has proven she can be good...injury has held her back...all of these divas with a little more ring time and training could be good....so enough of the whole diva searcg uined the wwe divas...no wrestling takes years of practice to perfect and to do safly...so time is what they need...maria is the exception she has had a lot of time
