Shelton Benjamin? A future World Champion?

Since hes been U.S Champion hes been very impressive. Shelton has constantly been great in the ring and everytime he has been on the card i stay awake for his match. He has and i believe elevated the US title to something that superstars try to obtain, something that is required to be held so that they may asend to the ultimate goal of a world title.

Now to me he will not be a world title holder for another couple of years (as of now they have edge, bigshow, undertaker, HHH n jeff hardy to really hold up the title scene.

But lets say in 2 years? I see Shelton as a WWE Champion

I hope he is. But I agree, the U.S championship matches are so exciting to watch...I mean shelton vs helms was classic, it was so exciting.

Benjamin has it all, albeit from the most entertaining gimmick.
I'm counting on Benjamin to be the face of SmackDown! soon, hopefully by the end of this year.
His matches with Finlay, Greg Helms, and Jeff Hardy over the past couple of months have been phenomenal.

but he has no gimmick....all he has going for him is wrestling ability...i dont find him entertaining he isnt that good on the mic...all he is is an all american no specific heel gimmick...they should bring back his momma that was a good gimmick thing

he shold be in the olympics then....guys who have only pure wrestling skills going for them didnt get anywhere....look at as an example dan the beast severn he did fuck all in wrestling becuase he was boring and characterlless...and even bobby lashley although he had his charcters he couldnt entertain us.

Thats the thing, its the biggest wrestling promotion in the world, he shouldnt have to do the olympics to get somewhere.

tell me about it...i like his ability but because peoples minds have been brainwashed we are tuning in and expecting divas in lingerie and hhh making jokes and jericho iwning....not like wrestling

Benjamin currently has the egotistic "Gold Standard" gimmick going, but I'm not impressed with that at all. I don't see why WWE doesn't turn Benjamin face. His mic skills.......improving. But the man has never once betrayed his position in WWE, unlike people like Jeff Hardy and Mr. Kennedy.

And I agree, his wrestling ability is unmatched, but Charlie Haas is a great wrestler too, and we see where his career has gone lately.

The thing that's always gotten me is how Shelton gets much more attention that Charlie. Charlie is better, imo, but is treated like shit. Sure, at least now he's getting tv time with his gimmick, but still.

Shelton should have already been world champ, he's better then most the people on the roster, they should should also bring his "momma" cuz she remembered my of thea and she was funny...LMAO Nevermind SHE IS Thea

Benjamin needs more mic work before a World Title reign.

His mic work is pretty good IMO and his momma was HILARIOUS!!!! Bring Big Momma back

2 thus far...and yes i like Undertaker being man enough to help put over Shelton...who knows if there isnt a known confirm about Undertakers next Victim maybe it will be UNdertaker v Shelton
