I think he overreacted. Kurt left the WWE years ago, it's not like he left last week and other people are using his moves straightaway. How many truly unique moves are there in wrestling which only one person uses?

He has a point with the Angle Slam.

Kurt Angle (and most of TNA's roster) > WWE. Under normal circumstances, I would have his back...

However, I can't say that he has much of an argument on this issue. The Angle Slam is pretty generic-looking, and when Kurt Angle first started using the ankle lock, I cried out "He stole that move from Ken Shamrock!!"

On the other hand, Michelle McCool had to have copied the Styles Clash as her finishing move. I remember seeing her use it, but I don't know if she still does. I'm not making a big deal about it, but the point is, it's more unique than Kurt's moves, so AJ would have more of an argument to go on than Kurt, if he wanted to.

The Ankle lock is a basic submission hold and has been used before, as Dead stated. However I believe the Angle Slam was his? Randy Orton has no reason to have such a move in his arsenal.

theres no trademark on these moves, so yeah, anyone can use them. and lol @ TNA > WWE...considering 85% of TNAs roster is from WWE/WCW/ECW....no

Yes, you're right. There is no trademark, but of all moves, Orton picking that move seems a little "iffy," in my opinion. I respect where your coming from too...TNA is no company to talk about stealing moves. But if someone just begun using the pedigree, it would look a little off, no?

the Angels Wings is a variation of the Pedigree, except Daniels sits out with it. hell, the Pepsi Plunge is a top rope pedigree but its no longer used cause of the impact on the knees. Angle is using Benoits signature triple german suplex to this day, so i dont see why ppl are in an uproar over Orton using the angle slam
