A young, Northern Fur Seal spent a brief stint at the Island Wildlife Natural Care Centre in British Columbia after washing ashore. When rescuers found it, the seal was dehydrated and in need of care. But the injuries weren’t serious enough to call for a prolonged stay.
Once rehydrated, workers released the seal back into the wild on a beach near the west coast of Vancouver Island.
In the video, the young seal at first looks unsure and timid of stepping out of his carrier. Then he emerges, looks around, checks in with the workers, and happily bounds toward the sea.
It is really adorable and will brighten your day!

I had a comment to make about this post, but I thought better of it. I mean this is the member that posted some guy getting three ice cream scoops.
As for the video, I think it is really cute. The only way it could have been better is if there were other seals at the place they released it. Kinda makes me sad that it will be alone.
