Kevin's EMMY Rundown: How many acting nominations have been submitted?

I finally got the sheet with All the acting nominations that are submitted.

There are a total of 1249 Acting nominations submitted this year, Including Best Actor, Actress, Supporting actor and actress for Drama's, comedies and Miniseries-TV Movies.

Also Guest Starring roles.

I'm going to TRY to do a rundown of 10 shows daily. SO I'll do them all Alphabetically all the acting nominations they submitted.

While browsing through found some surprising names, Doug Sarvant aka Tom Scavo on desperate housewives submitted his name for Lead actor In a Comedy Series. He is the FIRST male cast member to do so, as all the other male roles have always subbmitted themselves in supporting roles.

Another surprise i saw was ABC's summer show Scoundrels that got canceled in June of 2010, also submited acting nominations in the Drama category. While i don't think I've seen any nominations for Canceled shows 100 Questions (NBC), Persons unkown (NBC) and The Gates (ABC) who all got canceled last summer.

While I've seen names for The Vampire Diaries and Gossip Girl, my eyes didn't catch any One Tree Hill names..but i'm sure their in. ABC family also submitted acting nominations for Melissa & Joey and Pretty Little Liars, not sure on The Secret life or make it or Break it at this point. Since i just took a glance at the list.

Also I didn't see any names for ABC's Hit summer series Rookie Blue.

Anyways once i start we'll see all the shows that submitted acting nominations.

Keep in mind, when submitting nominations, the actor/actress themselves chooses to be Lead or Supporting category. Most Multi-lead shows like Modern Family, Perfect COuples and Happy Endings usualy submit their actors as Supporting cast members with NO leading roles.

Yes it is, keep in mind their are only (might be wrong) but 96 Acting spots to fill. So that''s like A LOT of people being left in the dark.
