TNA Impact Wrestling on Thursday, June 16 scored a 1.25 rating, bouncing back from the lowest ratings of the year the previous two weeks against the NBA Finals.
It was the highest rating in six weeks dating back to the May 12 episode. It was the second-highest-rated episode in the past 13 weeks dating back to March 17.
The key to Impact's ratings increase was among males 18-34. Impact scored its highest rating of the year in the demographic and the show was up 40 percent compared to last week.
Among males 18-49, Impact was up 16 percent compared to last week. The m18-49 rating was on the high-end of the 2011 range, but barely in the Top 10 out of 24 weeks this year.
On cable TV Thursday night, Impact ranked #29 in overall viewers, #12 in males 18-34, and #7 in males 18-49. In its timeslot, Impact ranked #3 among m18-49 behind History Channel programming.
Caldwell's Analysis: Good bounce-back for Impact, but the show remains in the same 1.1-1.3 ratings range after being pushed down to the mid-1.1 range over the past 12 weeks. The demographic ratings give TNA and Spike TV something to hang their hat on, which is a positive sign. As always, follow-up is key beyond a show that had some buzz and didn't have NBA Finals competition.

| Seems so strange to long time wrestling fans when a promotion's flagship show having ratings about half of what Nitro's were during it's last weeks is something to celebrate.
