Alex Riley is Off the Hook for DUI. Do You See Big Things For Him?

Alex Riley has a big WWE match with The Miz on Sunday, but he'll fighting with one less thing to worry about -- he won't be charged for driving under the influence stemming from an arrest last year.

As TMZ first reported, Riley was busted for driving under the influence in Tampa, FL back on November 17, 2010. He was booked into a local jail and eventually released on $500 bond.

But Riley's lawyers went before a judge earlier this month and argued that police had no probable cause for a traffic stop. The judge agreed, rendering the field sobriety test and the officer's observations (detecting the odor of alcohol) inadmissible.

Let's hope he has the same good fortune against The Miz.

So I think it is safe to say that he is having a great week.

I was wondering do you think the wwe will continue his push?

Where do you see him doing the rest of this year?

Also are you a fan of him or not?

He has potential to be a star sometime in the future. But obviously he has to stay out of trouble. That aside, it's ultimately up to the boss and whether or not he sees A-Ry as a marketable star. Everyone knows that Vince is all about the money.

I like Riley. He's got over with the crowd pretty well but needs to work with experienced competitors to put over his limitations in the ring. I'd put him in the Raw MITB then have a blow off match against Miz at Summerslam. After that, I don't know really. Raw midcard isn't great. Maybe Ziggler for the IC title . He can carry on getting a good rub off the heat machine that's Vickie.

^ Chloe your plan seems good but I don't want him to win the US title off of Ziggler.

I was hoping someone like JoMo or Bourne would win it.

I still have not seen much that I liked from Riley.

His beat down on Miz was probably the best thing but that's not a match so it doesn't give him too many positive points imo.

Bournes too much of a jobber I think and they want to push JoMo past the IC level so I think ARi could be a good choice. Kofis stale as fuck and there's only so many times he and Ziggler can feud.

I agree with Kofi. He needs to stay out of the title picture for a while.

As for Bourne I don't know if you know but he has been on a roll lately beating Swagger a couple times last night included.

So that makes me think they will continue to push him.

Only face that I could see getting the belt off of Ziggler except JoMo and Bourne is Rey.

Rey's never won the US title so I could see them letting him win that before he retires which I thought would be soon..

Whoever takes the US title off of Ziggler [likely a face] should then drop it to Swagger or McIntyre.

They both need to get the US title.
