RESPECT magazine's top 50 women of 2010/11

Looks like the guys and girls at RESPECT weren’t too happy with the listings for the Pro Wrestling Illustrated Female Fifty so decided to compile one of their own – and it’s a bit of a belter, if we do say so ourselves. With much more focus on wrestlers outside of WWE and TNA, it looks across the board of female wrestlers, meaning that Angelina Love – who came second in PWI’s F50 – and Eve Torres - who came fifth – don’t get a look-in.

You may or may not agree with the top ten, or even who won, but it’s a much more considered list and doesn’t just take into account wins and losses and titles won. Stars from WWE and TNA are still in there, but they’re not given special credit for being under contract or being on TV every week.

I think this is a really strong list of true female wrestlers. There are several women I would have liked to have seen included (Angelina Love, Beth Phoenix, Alpha Female), but overall MUCH better than the PWI list.

One interesting thing I found...being a HUGE shimmer fan: of the 50 women on the list, 32 have appeared on a main show taping and 2 others have appeared in Sparkle matches. 34 of the 50 is pretty good.

No disrespect to Rachel Summerlyn....shés a bit high on the list. While Melina and Layla shouldn't even be included.....but whatever.

Strong list....STILL lack some major players IMO

I completely agree that Rachel is way too high on the list. I think she is a decent wrestler, just not consistent in offering entertaining matches. Layla had a good year, so seeing her in the bottom 10 isn't too bad for me. Melina I am okay with as well. She has had a decent last few months, but not top 25 worthy.

I am disappointed that Jessicka Havok isn't higher on the list. She could take over the women's wrestling scene if given the right opportunities.

Vix....once I saw Mercedes was #1, I figured you'd be a happy camper. :D

I noticed No Ms.Chif, No Marti Belle or Tina San Antonio, or Juliett the Huntress or Jazz

Don't think i saw Lexxus or Alexa Jade.


HAPPY SUPER SUPER Happy to see Amanda Fox on the list IMO one of the BEST new technical wrestlers of today. She is GREAT GREAT talent and can do amazing things in the ring.

It's probably the ONLY time i'll see her ranked over Del Ray or Melissa...or Daizee Haze but I'll take it.
