OMFG!! EXCITED FOR MY FAVE BOOK TURNING INTO A MOVIE!!!

OMG!! One of my FAVORITE DUTCH BOOKS Will be turned into a MOVIE!!!
I’m sooo excited. I hate Dutch books btw…but there are a handful that actually caught my attention and “Isabelle” was one of them.

It tells the story about young actress Isabelle who goes on Holiday but is kidnapped by painter Jeannette, who was jealous of Isabelle’s beauty. After searching and searching for months and months they eventually give up the search. So she kidnapped Isabelle and made her starve and watch her slowly die (Most of jeannette’s paintings are of decay and death).

So her goal was to paint someone slowly dying and losing their beauty. Isabelle tries to gain her trust by telling her stories about how hard it is to be beautiful and how she was abused by her step father and many many stuffs.

I remember in the book Isabelle tried to fake hang herself to try to escape, if Jeannette thought she was dead, she would leave the door open and stuff. Now I loved the ending…..not gonna spoil it and not sure the ending in the movie will be the same as the book.

And OMG I’ve dreamed of writing a script (in English ofcourse) from this book and make it into a movie so sooo excited now (though in dutch)

Is the book in english? I couldn't understand a single thing from the script in the trailer, but it looked decent.

Sadly don't think there is a english version of the book

I saw a russian and German but no english.

I'm sure there should be a movie with english subs.

The movie is from the auther from another book that became a movie. Which was Twin Sisters (IMO a MUST WATCH Movie...really good)
