| Beth Phoenix was originally scheduled to win the WWE Divas Title in her hometown of Buffalo, NY at the Night of Champions pay-per-view. The decision was changed because there’s a feeling that Kelly Kelly is starting to get over as champion.

Isn't the "feud" dead in the water because it's been completely one sided? All NoC did was disappoint anyone who had started to care about the Division, and the squash on the following Raw buried it, completely. Nothing short of the NXT Divas joining the DoD as a group and going after literally all the Raw and SD Divas could save it, as all five would be right in saying they're better than the Divas Champion. But, well, we all know what happened to the male version of that concept. Uncreative would just have Kelly bury Katlyn, AJ, Maxine, Naomi, & Aksana all at once. | |

They were joking about that possibility in another forum, trying to picture what the crowd reaction to a Cena/Kelly team would be.
Too bad they're bound and determined not to really promote anyone but Kelly. Could you picture a Kelly vs AJ feud, since AJ is pretty much the Anti-Kelly? But, because of that, they'd be running too great a risk of AJ winding up more popular than Kelly, especially with the teen girls.

| I think Kelly Kelly is the most popular Diva on the current roster in general. She seems like the ONLY Diva to get any type of fan reaction in my opinion. So I can see why WWE feels that way. | |
