Former WWE tag champion Evan Bourne has been suspended 60 days (two months) for his second violation of the Wellness Policy, WWE announced Tuesday.

WWE's statement reads, "In accordance with its Talent Wellness Program, WWE has suspended Matthew Korklan (Evan Bourne) for 60 days effective Tuesday, January 17 for his second violation of the company's policy."

The writing was on the wall this weekend when Bourne & Kofi Kingston dropped the Tag Titles to Epico & Primo at a house show in Oakland on Sunday. WWE then took care of their re-match clause by having Bourne & Kofi lose quickly to the tag champions on Raw Monday night.

Bourne's 60-day suspension follows a 30-day suspension handed down in November when Bourne was cited for his first violation of the Wellness Policy.

Caldwell's Analysis: Bourne would be eligible to return to action just before WrestleMania in mid-March. By then, he may be left off the card, unless WWE brings back the Money in the Bank match, which would likely open up a slot for his return. At this point, he would be fortunate to make the Mania card.

Id have thought after his first suspension he'd be a little more careful.

considering his first suspension was like 2 months ago. It's his own fault lets face it. And again since he his not in my "i give a shit about you" list....I don't really care

Yeah I am really upset with Bourne.

He let all of his fans and especially Kofi down.

I also can't see him lasting long in the WWE so I guess he can become a X-Division champ by the end of the year.. :-/

personally wouldn't go that far. All Bourne does is pot, Hardy was into far worse narcotics

It wouldn't shock me if bourne does more then pot and mainly pot and coke is what alot of the wrestler start on along with pain killers.
