Jesse Sorensen has sustained a C1 vertebrae fracture with spinal
cord edema. He is slowly regaining feeling and movement in his arms and
legs. He wants to thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. Once we
speak to the neurosurgeon, we will pass on more details. | |

| They have a saying..the Show Must go On...and that's what they did, Referee showed the X-sign, Ion followed the referee's instructions and went into the ring and not continue the match and they had a count out...best way to end the match in a situaton like that.
Ion couldn't risk moving Jesse to make a Dq happen...sooo they did the count out as quick as the referee possibly can..
They handeled it the best way IMO and kudos for Ion for staying in character. I would have been really worried. | |
