And Vince Russo did help WWE when their ratings were down in the dump back in 1997 and brought us fun fueds we all loved and still think on today like Mr. McMahon vs. Steve Austin, Kane vs. Undertaker, The Generation X, the Rise of The Rock. All of those were Vince Russo's doing as well as characters like Sable, The Godfather and Val Venis. Vince Russo is good, but he needs a filter an VKM was ALWAYS the perfect filter for him and cut him off when it went a bit too far. THAT was TNA's problem, if Eric Bischoff was his filter...you can't be blaming Vince Russo's for TNA's bad product, any idea, character or storyline had to go through bischoff before it made TV, so maybe he wasn't giving Bischoff a whole lot to work with...that is a possibility...but is Bischoff is who Ok'd everything to make TV. | |
