Bourne Removed From WWE Intro, Cena/Punk Movie Info

The shot of Evan Bourne doing his shooting star press finisher in the RAW intro has been removed and was not on this past weeks RAW. The shot has been apart of the intro for the past 2 years. Bourne is still currently serving a 60 day suspension for his second violation of the company wellness policy.

Deadline.com is reporting that WWE Studios and 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment have come to terms on a new deal that will produce 3 new straight to DVD projects. One of those movies being The Marine 3.

It has been confirmed that John Cena will reprise his role of John Triton in The Marine Homefront. The first Marine movie from 2006 was the most succesful WWE studios project and generated over $18 million in revenue.

20th Century Fox Home Entertainment will handle worldwide distribution for the 3 movies via Blu-ray, DVD, VOD and digital download.

“WWE Studios will continue to expand its film offerings to appeal to a wide range of movie fans in 2012 and 2013,” said WWE Studios President, Michael Luisi. “We look forward to building upon our relationship with 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment to present movies that bring action, adventure and humor to audiences all over the globe.”

No details yet on the other two movies, but one of them is expected to star WWE Champion CM Punk

The first one was okay. Not great, but watchable.

The Marine was not WWE Studios most successful film. The Scorpion King is. The Rundown and Walking Tall also were more successful.

I'm a little surprised to discover that See No Evil and The Condemned were less successful though.

I think this is not a good sign for Bourne..

Will he make an impact by the summer..?

And I think more Marines films are not needed however a little break from Cena won't hurt my feelings so make a fourth while you are at it......

The stabbing storyline, when Carlito feuded with Cena was Cena's time off. It took a month out to film The Marine.
