Colin Firth, Natalie Portman, Christian Bale And Melissa Leo Set To Present Acting Awards At The Oscars

LOS ANGELES -- All four acting winners from last year's Academy Awards are returning to this weekend's Oscars as presenters.

Organizers say Colin Firth, Natalie Portman, Christian Bale and Melissa Leo will be there to hand out awards Sunday.

Last year's lead-acting prizes went to Firth for "The King's Speech" and Portman for "Black Swan." Bale and Leo won the supporting honors for "The Fighter."

Among this season's contenders are lead performers George Clooney for "The Descendants," Viola Davis for "The Help," Meryl Streep for "The Iron Lady" and Jean Dujardin for "The Artist."

The supporting favorites are Octavia Spencer for "The Help" and Christopher Plummer for "Beginners."

So it looks like they are staying with the traditional way of presenting it.

Did anyone like it when in 2009-2010 they had 5 people present the acting awards? Those people were either past winners of that award [2009] or people who had a certain connection with the nominee [2010]?

i thought it was cool when they had the 5 people.

Yeah I was a fan of that as well.

It made it seem more special because even the soon to be losers still got a very nice speech about their performances.

I hope eventually they bring back that format.

I just want this stupid award show to e over with. Interupting my damn shows

No Revenge, Once Upon a time or Shameless because of these damn Academy Awards....bitch needs to get done and over with.

Why was Revenge stopped because of the Oscars?

I mean it should have been on this past Wednesday the Oscars are this Sunday..

I looking forward to the show and after it is done everything will back to the way it was so no big deal to me..

They had a 20/20 Special on Wednesday Oscar Nominees: Before they were famous. Stupid Movies....like it's worth broadcasting. They are already expecting low ratings because no big budget film is even up for Best Picture.

They should have do an online thing and let people watch it online sooooo i can continue to watch my Damn Shameless and Once Upon a time.....And Desperate Housewives as well.....ttss All these award shows piss me off.....well except Emmy's because they are fully dedicated to TV.

Oh I didn't know or really care about that 20/20 special.
