‘Pokemon Black 2′ and ‘Pokemon White 2′ Announced on ‘Pokemon Smash’

Junichi Masuda just appeared on Pokemon Smash and announced Pokemon Black 2 and Pokemon White 2, the sequels of Black and White. Both games will be released for the Nintendo DS in June 2012 but will apparently sport additional DSi and 3DS features. The game mascots will apparently be the two new formes of Kyurem that were shown in the movie poster earlier. They seem to be some sort of combination of Kyurem and Reshiram (Ice / Fire?) and Kyurem and Zekrom (Ice / Electric?). Their names, Masuda promised, will be revealed later.

I've just gotten another team nearly to level 100 on Black so later on I will start over [but I think I'm going to go back to Hear Gold].

What is your team so far?

I'm getting ready to start over on Heart Gold by tonight or at least tomorrow.

My team is going to be:

Machamp
Exeggutor
Drapion
Lickilicky [my surfer and psudo electric type]
Swampert
Moltres

I've never trained a Machamp, Drapion, or Lickilicky so that should be cool. As for Exeggutor, Swampert, and Moltres I have trained them before on a team but that has been a long time ago and certainly not with the best natures, move set, and later EV trained.

my main team fo platnium right now is

Monferno(lvl 30)
Staravia(llvl 21)
Kricketune(lvl 15)
Luxio(lvl 17)
Machop(lvl 14)
and an egg(about to hatch)

i forgot which type beats ghost

Your team is decent but you trained Monferno too high imo and that left the others to barely get trained. Staraptor, Luxray, and Machamp are good pokemon when fully evolved but you need to train them hard so they can evolve.

I should say you might want to swap out Machamp for something else considering Infernape is also a fighting type [with fire]. Kricketune sucks as far as bug types go and the egg hatches into [spoiler above]

so I was you I would replace Machop, Kricketune, and the egg.

You need a water pokemon such as Gyrados, Tentacruel, Gastrodon, Floatzel.

A grass type is a must as well so I would suggest one of these: Roserade, Tangrowth, or Leafeon.

The last slot is up to you but I would try not to have too many pokemon that share types or weaknesses.

Ghost is weak against Dark type moves and Ghost types moves.

i tend to do that a lot with the starters don't know why though

Your team got a stronger and it is nice you added a grass type but you have two again!

And you also have two electric types but at least Rotom can be a pseudo water type if you get the water form Rotom because it will learn Hydro Pump which imo is the best move for it from the forms.

I looked this up on google answers so this is what someone said about how to change Rotom's forms in Platinum:

all you have to do is once you have rotom that you get from the house in the eterna forest go to the galactic building there and walk to the far left go straight up and right next to the machine with the flashing lights press "a" on the wall and then the secret key will open the wall and a path way where you can enter and with rotom with you click on the machine you want it to go in and then it will transform into that machine (side note read the book on the table because that tells you how to get it out of the machin if you get bored of it)

So good luck I recommend the washing machine because that is the form that learns Hydro Pump.

A good final move set could be: Shadow Ball, Hydro Pump, Thunder, and Rain Dance.

Usually I would have Thunderbolt over Thunder yet with Rain Dance it will help power up Hydro Pump and give the really powerful Thunder 100% accuracy.

Rain Dance will also help your grass pokemon deal with fire moves because it weakens them by 50%!

Team is decent again but you got rid of both of your grasses for another Fighting type [Lucario] and another Fire type [Flareon!].

i wonder if the new versions of kyruem would be triple type because they will obvisouly keep there dragon type but i dont think they would be only dragon and ice so i wonder if they'll be dragon ice and there other type

I don't know.

Triple types would be really interesting but the calculations as to what % damage certain moves would do to it would be really hard to figure out!

I mean Dragon/Ice/Electric.

For sure weak against Ground, Dragon, Fighting, Steel, and Rock.

As for what does normal damage, 50% damage, 25% damage or a little more/little less I don't know..

For Dragon/Ice/Fire the types it is for sure weak against are:

Dragon, Rock [x4!], Fighting, and Ground.

So it may seem like it is a good thing to have 3 types but you get to a point where you would have a lot of weaknesses [but 3 or your likely moves would get STAB so that would help].

Wait so what happens to the original kyruem zekrom and reshiram or is this kind like a prequel because I rember from the game they said that zekrom and reshiram were the same pokemon but then they split and people think kyruem is the original form so that would be cool

They would stay as is I believe.

I'm sure you will need an item to change Kyurem into it's Reshiram and Zekrom forms.

I got my HG team to level 23-25 and I'm about to beat Whitney's ass.

I don't think there is a new Jigglypuff on the current season of the show.

And yes Ash is still the protagonist. He is probably always going to be the main character so no getting around that..

I just think it's messed up that jigglypuff was not used that much on the show when he was one the most popular characters on the show.Plus he's way better than pikachu the Pokemon that little rat is like the john cena of Pokemon.

LOL I agree I don't care for Pikachu and I always loved Jigglypuff from the anime. :P

Before I purchase either one of these games, I need to know if Raichu is still around? If I can't have him on my team then I don't see myself buying any of the newer games.

Flying Eevee evolution is mandatory! A ghost one would be nice as ewll
however I would not mind if they made a Rock, Ground, or Steel one next
time they make new ones [if it happens].

If you are talking about Black/White I can tell you that Pikachu/Raichu is NOT found in the wild. No previous generation pokemon are until you beat the game and even then not everyone is found in the wild and they are usually a high level. If you want to have a Raichu on your team in the new games you are going to have to transfer one from a previous game like Heart Gold/Soul Silver or Diamond/Pearl/Platinum. You can also trade for one on the global link trade however I don't really know much about that.
