Report: Why Christian & Del Rio Are Not Booked For WMania

According to PWInsider.com, and as we reported yesterday, WWE star
Christian was pulled from the 12 man tag team match at WrestleMania 28
due to lingering issues from his ankle injury.
As far as Alberto Del Rio is concerned, original plans called for Del
Rio to be a part of the 12 man tag match, however, WWE officials believe
the match is "below him," and are planning something more dramatic for
his eventual return. The feeling is that the tag team match at
WrestleMania 28 is not fitting for a past World Champion who is in line
for a big push in the coming months. It's being said that a possible
feud with Randy Orton is being discussed for Del Rio at this time.

Despite not appearing in the tag team match, both Christian and Del Rio
are expected to be in attendance for WrestleMania and are likely to
appear on camera at some point during the event.

I'm sorry, but the last time I saw him he wasn't doing that well (albeit, in part of booking.)

Meanwhile a guy like Dolph Ziggler who continues to impress can't seem to get that push he deserves. He's been the most consistent worker in the entire company for the last 2 & 1/2 years over the likes of a Punk or a Cena.
