Report: Plans For Christian & The ECW Championship

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that there may not be any immediate plans for Christian and the future of the ECW Championship. At this point, the early talk is that the title will cease to exist and Christian will be moved to another brand, most likely Smackdown, but that has not been confirmed. As we reported before, WWE NXT debuts on February 23rd.

Christian needs to be placed on another brand, so it's good to hear this news. I hope it's true.

I'll bet this new show will suck more than ECW.

I will like to see Christian go to Raw but SD is fine, I hope they dont make Edge and Christian team up again, unless its here and there. They both are good enough to be on their own as singles competetors. There are already other tag teams they could be pushing.

Maybe Christian will beat Drew for the IC title and Edge continues to run SD as WHC.

Christian would get lost in the shuffle on RAW, he seriously doesn't need to go there

You're right. That's why I'm glad Punk is on SD: his brief tenure was a fail in my eyes. Once he went to SD things really picked up for him.

Punk was completely lost on RAW, and he didn't deserve it, nor does Christian. Smackdown! would do go for Christian, I think.

Punk was a World Champion, IC champion and tag champion on Raw...I wouldn't class that as a fail.

Christian on SD would be really nice. that is the place were people truly get to shine.

Yeah....but when he was world champ on RAW, he wasn't even put in the center of the show. he usually competed and appeared in the midcard

like sheamus does right now

and yeah, Vix..Christian would be best fit on Smackdown! but MVP sucks on any show

And nobody cared about them in case you dont remember-that makes them FAILS. The only reason he isn't on top right now is because of Cena's Snitches.


Christian is heading to SD!, there's no way he's going to RAW

Whooptie, during each of these three reigns he didn't anything special; and when he was the world champ, he wasn't even the focus of the show. That, my friend, is a failure!

his world title run on Raw was a joke, because he didnt even lose it in a match. he was jumped backstage at a ppv by Legacy and was replaced in the title match...so yeah...his reign with that was a fail

I think the best thing for WWE to do is have Christian refuse to give up the ECW Title and Mr. McMahon tells Christian that every match he contests will be an ECW Title match. Christian successfully defends the title on every attempt and gets to WM where he loses it against a new NXT Star (my pick would be Bryan Danielson).

After that, Christian would get drafted to SD to fued with Edge and the ECW Title will be renamed the NXT Title.
