Billboad Hot 100 (2012 fun facts)

Fun. Currently holds the spot for the most weeks at number one this year. Their single “We Are Young” has currently been at number one for 4 weeks straight and might be heading for week 5. Other number one singles this year thus far include Adele “Set Fire to the Rain”, Rihanna Featuring Calvin Harris with “We Found Love” and LMFAO’s “Sexy and I Know it” which all held the top spot for 2 weeks straight. Katy Perry’s “Part of Me” debuted at number one and was there for only one week.

Kelly Clarkson’s “What Doesn’t Kill You (Stronger)” has held the top spot for 3 weeks. It had it 2 weeks straight but lost it to Katy Perry but regained it the week after. Kelly Clarkson remains the only artist in 2012 to regain the number 1 spot after losing it.

There has been 216 Songs on the Billboard hot 100 Singles thus far in 2012. Those songs combined have featured about 174 artists and bands. From those, 20 singles have been from the Glee Cast. Nikki Minaj has been featured in 11 songs, Lil Wayne 10 songs, Drake with 9 songs and Rihanna with 7 songs. Tyga has 6 songs on the charts. While Chris Brown and Jay-Z settle with 5 each.

Yeah, gonna do an update in June again to see how much things have shifted. We Are Young, Glad You Came, Somebody I Used To Know all recently climbed up the charts...so they are still kind of low on the list. Since i'm doing it myself and like Nr. 1 gets 100 points and number 100 gets 1....most those songs have been in the top 20 the last 2 months are just dropping now. While those new tracks are only now rising
