Extreme Rules Nikki Bella vs Beth For Divas Championship?????

It looks like Nikki Bella may be next in line for a Divas Title shot after both she and twin, Brie, were confronted by champion Beth Phoenix in a video on WWE.com.

In said video, Nikki is asked if she has heard about any sort of title shot after pinning Phoenix a few weeks ago on SmackDown, which escalates into a small argument between both she and Brie about where they stood in the Team Teddy/Team Johnny war leading up to WrestleMania.

Needless to say, the twins quickly side together as Brie pokes fun at the Divas Champion for being constantly pinned by celebrity guest, Maria Menounos — although things take a turn for the worst when Phoenix walks right into the equation.

Speaking to Nikki, Phoenix states: “You want a title match? You want a rematch against the Glamazon? Well, you’re in luck because I’ll go see John Laurinaitis right now and make sure that you get what you want.”

Could the match take place at Extreme Rules in just under two weeks?

For fuck's sake either let these chicks wrestle or have a live lesbian orgy.

I thought the Bellas were meant to be leaving WWE soon? Either this is WWE's way of persuading them to stay, or WWE is really stupid. Or both, which seems likely.

Would make perfect sense, seeing as Kharma debuted extreme rules last year. Have Beth dominate them, Kharma demolishes them then attacks Beth.

well at least the Bellas are still heels and they're giving the title shot to the better wrestler. i really hope this story about the Bellas leaving isn't just a red herring so they can swerve us by putting the belt on Nikki. oh well, at least Beth's actually defending it

Thing is, this all leads back to their "rumors", Remember back in the day, we read the ONLY reason why the Bella's were called up, was because they threatened to leave the company. Vince was and is still high on them.

Once again word got out that they might be leaving and they are suddenly tossed in an abrupt Divas title match?

Making me believe maybe there was more truth to the rumor on why they got called up.

I don't see the marketability of them, no one gives a crap about them. Their biggest reaction was from calling Kharma fat, who was the most over diva and by using a personal remark.
