While Beth Phoenix appeared to be legitimately injured on last night's
RAW Supershow, the plan for her to drop the Divas Title to Nikki Bella
goes back a few weeks.

The idea was to get the Divas Title off
of Beth Phoenix so Kharma can get the belt without facing Phoenix first.
The plan as of a few days ago was for Nikki to win the title, likely at
Extreme Rules, and then get destroyed by Kharma the next night on RAW.
Obviously plans were moved up and the title change happened on RAW last
night. Kharma destroying Nikki Bella for the Divas Title would have
brought her back into the storylines as a dominant force and would have
ended the Kharma-Bella storyline that began last year.

Even
though Nikki won the title last night, PWInsider reports that nothing
new has been said about The Bella Twins leaving WWE at the end of this
month. It's still possible that they came to terms on a new deal but
that's not the word going around.

I do think it is a bit soon to be giving Kharma the title, in her first official match.

What on earth can she possibly get from getting the title so soon.

And it also means that whoever is next to take it from her, unless Natalya or Beth are just gonna have so many ppl bitching about how obsurd it is for Kharma to lose to a model.

I agree with LL. I don't see why she needs the title so soon.

If this is true then I agree that Kharma doesn't NEED to win the Divas title so soon; but I won't mind if she does. I like the fact that Vince/WWE are considering to continue with the Kharma/Bella Twins storyline that began last year.

Ultimately, we all know that Kharma will get the belt. And I think she deserves it.

But I would like to see her work though the rest of the roster on her way to the Bella Twins. I think it would be much more enjoyable to see this take a couple of months. Let her kill most of the other divas, then she can take the belt from Nikki.

I don't believe in this throwing the title on someone just so someone else can beat them for the title.

as long as...when it's all said and done..Layla gets to be the Kharma-killer and end her reign..i will be happy.

Wouldn't it be awesome if Tamina or Natayla randomly won the title or maybe Kelly Kelly Again!!!!!!!

and I have liked Layla since right before LayCool started. i was so happy when she put McCool out (kayfabe-wise). I think Layla has a good bit to offer if she gets a little more time to shine before she hangs it up

I have a feeling Layla will return at extreme rules and defeat Nikki for the divas title.I just don't think Khama is ready to come back.
