According to Politico.com, former WWE CEO Linda McMahon has increased her lead against Republican candidate Chris Shays in a new Quinnipiac University poll. McMahon leads 59% to 30%.
The Republican primary election to determine who will be the Republican candidate takes place in August. If McMahon wins the primary election, she will be the Republican candidate in the Connecticut Senate race going up against Democratic opponent Chris Murphy in November's general election. | |
