Update : David Slade hit Twitter to sort-of debunk the rumours that Hartnett is their Matt Murdock.
Yep, nope, Josh Hartnet is not being discussed or anyone else for DD that was just some wishful thinking, we are not at casting stage.
Not that he’s counting Josh out. Sounds like he’s definitely someone he’ll consider WHEN they begin casting talks.
Previously :
They shared the same leathery bits in a movie, now Ben Affleck and Josh Hartnett may be doing it again.
In a world of crime, hate, greed and terror, there’s only one place one can turn for blind assistance… the credits block of Michael Bay’s “Pearl Harbour”. Or so it seems.
Though Ben Affleck donned the mask first-time around, the former’s “Harbour” co-star Josh Hartnett (you guys thought I was going to say ‘Dan Aykroyd’ didn’t you!?) might be donning the Daredevil garb next. Yup, seems the role of Matt Murdock is as interchangeable as the fleshy man-bits pressed up against Kate Beckinsale’s rump (her character in the film loved and licked both guys, you’ll recall) in the film they all did together.
David Slade, director of “30 Days of Night” and the upcoming “Daredevil” reboot, may have revealed in a Twitter exchange that Hartnett- who he worked with on the frigginly-fun “30 Days” – is who he wants for the part.
Now that could just be a slip, or maybe Slade slipped and punched a wrong response in there, but his words do seem to agree that Hartnett would be a good fit in the movie. No? Maybe he’s simply agreeing to the first part of the question – that he hopes to get going on the movie soon.
The “Daredevil” reboot, a restart of the franchise, is based on Frank Miller’s “Born Again” comic.
By the way, Slade has since erased the tweet. Maybe he fucked up in posting it!? Or maybe he just knows the web too well and how we cats work… one man’s hint is another man’s traffic hit.
