WWE released updated monthly business figures Tuesday night revealing even-lower WrestleMania 28 PPV buys and preliminary Over the Limit buys.
-- The preliminary estimate for WrestleMania is now between 1.1 and 1.2 million buys. Last month, WWE lowered the preliminary figure to 1.21 million buys after initially reporting 1.3 million buys shortly after WrestleMania in April.
WWE will report an official WM28 buy total when Second Quarter 2012 figures are released this summer.
-- A preliminary buy total for Over the Limit featuring John Cena vs. John Laurinaitis is skewed due to the WM28 adjustments. However, graphically, WWE is listing Over the Limit above the 2011 edition, but below the 2010 edition. | |
