Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs has been delayed to early 2013, so gamers waiting for their next big scare will have to wait a little longer.
Dan Pinchbeck, the Creative Director for the game, states in an interview Gamezone that, “we felt it could do with a few more months' work to make sure that's really going to happen.” Dan and the rest of thechineseroom previously worked on Dear Esther before Fricitional Games handed over control of the sequel to their horror hit, Amnesia: The Dark Descent.
Besides tuning up A Machine for Pigs for next year, thechineseroom is also working on Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture, the follow-up to Dear Esther. This time around, the story focuses on six characters and an open post-apocalyptic world that responds to your actions and the decisions you make. There’s no release date yet for Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture.
