WWE Smackdown on Friday, July 13 scored a 1.79 (1.8) rating leading into the Money in the Bank PPV.
The "Zackdown" episode was up one-tenth of a rating from the live Tuesday special on July 3 and rounded to the same score as the previous first-run Friday episode on June 29. The show was slightly below the yearly average of a 1.83 rating, but rounded to the same rating.
Zackdown averaged 2.50 million viewers, which was slightly below the live Tuesday show and below the previous two first-run Friday episodes. Zackdown was also down an average of 200,000 viewers (7.7 percent) compared to the yearly average.
On cable TV Friday night, Zackdown ranked #6 on cable TV and #1 in key male demos during its timeslot. Zackdown ranked #2 in teen males, trailing Disney Channel programming.
Caldwell's Analysis: Average performance. The main issue was this being the first episode after a live special, which affects viewing habits and throws people off-schedule. | |
