Riding a wave of momentum from last Monday's Raw and the general Raw 1,000 hype, Friday Night Smackdown on July 20 scored a 2.02 rating.
The rating was up 12.9 percent from July 13 and was the highest rating since March 9, slightly topping a 2.00 rating on June 22.
Smackdown averaged 2.96 million viewers, which was up nearly 500,000 viewers (18.5 percent) compared to last Friday's show. Also, Smackdown was up 9.6 percent compared to the yearly average.
On cable TV Friday night, Smackdown ranked #6 in overall viewers, was #1 among males 12-34, and was #2 among teen males and adult males behind TNT's "Dark Knight" airing.
In the demographic ratings, Smackdown was up one-tenth to two-tenths of a rating compared to last week in key male demos. On the high-end was males 18-34, which rated the highest since July 3. | |
