- As noted before, SmackDown General Manager Booker T has canceled the SummerSlam World Heavyweight Title match between Sheamus and Alberto Del Rio following the beatdown on Sheamus last night.
WWE's website has a new article up stating that Sheamus' SummerSlam status is in the air and nobody knows if he will be 100% yet for the pay-per-view.
WWE is teasing an update to Sheamus' condition on Monday's RAW. They speculate that if he is able to perform, possible SummerSlam opponents would be Rey Mysterio, Randy Orton, Kane, Dolph Ziggler, Daniel Bryan and Sin Cara.
For what it's worth, the original plan several weeks back was to have Sheamus vs. Ziggler vs. Del Rio in a three-way but Ziggler has since been booked in a singles match against Chris Jericho.
