The thing that pissed me off about that couple was because the show (Guiding Light) tried to get us to root for the big girl. FUCK THAT! What pissed me off is that it actually worked, this shitty couple was popular at the soap message boards. It made me sick because Coop BELONGED WITH LIZZIE! Anyone who saw there love story from the beginning knows that shit.

2005 was a great year for GL (Couples Wise)

We had the super couples Reva and Josh, Harley and Gus (They finally married) and Michelle and Danny (They reunited this year) we had fantastic young love storylines Tammy and Jonathan and Lizzie and Coop. A great new couple in Dinah and Mallet, Jeffrey and Cassie were cool too. All of those couples were pretty damned popular. Then came 2006 and they completely fucked everything up and we the fans never recovered.

Reva had cancer (She refused to tell Josh and he startssleeping with her sister)

Tammy and Coop start acting like Goody goodies and basically start treating both Lizzie and Jonathan like shit! I hated that because Tammy and Coop were the ‘normal” ones in the relationships and the crazies (Jon and Lizzie) needed them. Ava starts sniffing all over Coop. Lizzie and Jon have a one night stand and that ruins both couples forever. What should have happened was Lizzie to think that Jon was the father only for Coop to be the daddy all along. That would have been so soapie and both couples would have reunited at this time. Tammy would have never died, Coop would have never died. GL why????????????

I just saw ATWT! Brad's goodbye episode So freaking sad. I cried like a baby after this episode. Katie and Brad make such a great couple, there time together was cut way to short. Great episode, cant believe this show has been CANNED! Stupid ass CBS

I haven't watched Y&R in a few weeks...but Nikki Newman has dyed her blonde hair?! My earth is shaking, hell has frozen over because there is no way that the buxom blond Nikki Newman has dyed her gorgeous locks another color, no way!

I miss Slappin' Sammy from a few weeks ago, god someone piss her off so she can start slapping people left and right. I say that she starts with Brady, mostly because I wanted someone to slap the taste out of Ethan's mouth on Passions when Gwen wouldn't womanup and do it.

I'm still pissed with Matthew and glad Destiny called him on his BS because he does drop her every time another girl comes along. Danyella is crazy and once she unleashes the crazy on Matthew he will either go running back to Destiny (who will hopefully be too busy dating her John Morrison lookalike to give a damn about Matthew's problems) or make excuses for the little psycho. The Schuyler and Gigi seen did nothing for me, mostly because Sky is too good for the whiny b*****. I thought the Kyle Fish seen was very well done and blew away Luke and Noah's non-romance by a mile, I know most people want them to start a family and raise Stacy's baby together, but I don't see that happening when they only recently started dating. If anything, I see the two of them allowing the village idiots aka Rigi to raise the baby for now, then later down the line realize that they gave Rigi a living being and sue for custody.

I've been trying to watch GH for James Franco, but can't since the show really IS nothing more than the Sonny and Jason mafia hour; now if those two were going up against the likes of Tony Montana or Tony Soprano, then I'd tune it and pay attention.

I kinda felt bad for Nick when he was explaining why he was coming between Kyle and Fish, I know he's getting a lot of hatred for trying to break up for the two, but at the same time I felt really bad for him.

Adam and Sharon are storyline continues to disturb me, I find it creepy watching those two together or with Ashley knowing full well what Adam did to the two of them. The only good thing about it is knowing how much drama we're going to get in the fallout after everyone becomes aware of what Adam did.

Lovin' Kay and Jill interacting with her long lost daughter, I hope they pull a "My Fair Lady" and try and turn her into a lady fit for society.

Ryan and Greenlee reunite, cue to me not giving a damn as well as a majority of AMC fans who hate Ryan and are sick of Greenlee leaving and coming back.

Man I'm going to miss my Stacy on OLTL watching her beat the crap out of the psycho nurse was pure amusement and without her around I won't have anyone to stick it to the village idiots and their bratty spawn, but I must give two snaps to Kim for her Golddigging; you go girl, get that money! I still can't stand that brat DanYella and wishes she was never written into the story, I'm currently missing Destiny who has vanished since the arrival of the little Banshee who shouldn't exist. The show has been boring for the last few days, I need more LOCK scenes; watching Kyle, Oliver, Cristian, and Layla would be much more better than the current stuff we're getting

Rick & Amber was a big no-no for me too.

I love Thorne, but hate the fact that they never do anything with him. As it stands, HE is the true heir to the Forrester dynasty, but he gets ignored in favor of Ridge. I thought I was going to hate the Darla and Thorne storyline (I loved Thorne and Macy), but it worked for me, sadly it ended and since then Thorne has been banished to the Basement where all the unwanted children like Solange Knowles and Jamie Lynn Spears reside.

I would really love to know what Ridge is working with, because you have Brooke and Taylor fighting some 20+ years over the dude, he had a psycho ex come back wanting to sex him up for a baby, his mother doesn't think any woman is good enough for him, and to top it all off; his daughters are now catfighting for his attention. Ridge must piss gold, crap 100 dollar bills, and spit diamonds because I've never know a man to be worth that much of a headache.

Loved the fistfight between Nick and Adam today and the Victor comes in and sees the two fighting and the two turn into little kids, you know they're scared of what Victor is going to do to them.

I'm probably going to skip B&B for awhile since I suspect they're going to go into that annoyingly immortal triangle of Brooke/Ridge/Taylor, this thing has been going on since I was a kid, it's time to stop! What makes it worse is that I KNOW they're going to continue this into the next generation with Hope as the new Taylor and Steffy as Brooke Logan 2.0...I'm making a bet right now, I bet that Bill will have a hidden son or a son he didn't know about roughly Steffy's age or a year or two older, he's going to come in and become the new "Ridge" and the two are going to catfight all over Cali for him.

I skipped OLTL today, I didn't feel like seeing the newest airtime hogger Dan-YELLA take up more screentime. I read the spoilers that a kid will be born, another will get sick, and that a third will be conceived. Please let Layla be the one to get pregnant and let Stacy have a boy and Cayla have a girl so that 10 years from now when both are Sorased to age 30 we can see Cayla and Kish watching proudly as their two kids wed.


As for the question about whores on soaps getting good guys, that's a question that baffles me, that along with the fact that the most hoish character on the show is always portrayed as the heroine we have to root for. Every now and then you get the ho you should never turn into a housewife paired up with the self-centered self-righteous village idiot, this couple is usually in a triangle and the other party is always a character that is rootable, but the writers always make her do something "unforgivable" so that the ho you can't turn into a housewife fans can vilify her about what she did and feel better about the fact that they root for a W****.

Back in the day, the whores of the show were fun characters you could almost root for and were redeemed before hooking them up with a good guy; now, they're the type that would tweet pictures of themselves blowing a roadie backstage at a Miley Cyrus concert and blame their behavior on somthing stupid like McDonalds running out of McNuggets and they get instant forgiveness.

I've noticed B&B is on a pattern....interesting story...love triangle...interesting story...love triangle...there's always a love triangle that gets tossed in the mix.
