| According to F4WOnline.com, The Undertaker is expected to work a high profile match at WrestleMania 29, and his potential opponents are currently being discussed, with one possibility being CM Punk ending the streak and "earning everyone's respect."
Contrary to what WWE normally does with The Undertaker, the company is considering bringing The Dead Man back for the Royal Rumble PPV in January, and possibly having him win the Royal Rumble match.
The feeling is an Undertaker Royal Rumble win along with a title shot at WrestleMania 29 could bring in a strong buy rate for the big PPV.

| I'm against almost all of these plans..
Taker winning the 2013 Royal Rumble - No..
Taker facing CM Punk at WM 29 - Sure that could work.
CM Punk beating Taker at WM 29 - HELL NO!

| I'd be extremely upset with the WWE if they snap his streak. | |

| I actually really like this idea. If someone is going to end the streak, I'd rather it be someone like CM Punk and not Ryback or Cena. CM Punk needs this, and this could probably make him a bigger star than even Cena himself.
I'd enjoy seeing Undertaker make this shocking return at the Rumble and win it. Imagine the heat CM Punk would get from defeating the Undertaker and bragging about it?
Undertaker has clearly been vocal and accepting of losing the streak to someone, why can't everyone else accept it if the man himself can? Undertaker is doing the right thing, putting someone else over. This is just an opportunity they can't just let pass by.
Everyone is so fixated on the streak...But, the thing is, he would still be 20-1 at wrestlemania, there is NO shame in that. The payoff for the star who beats him is honestly much more beneficial than the payoff of having the streak continue.
If he has a match at Wrestlemania 30, they can still hype it. Who is going to be the next one to defeat undertaker at Wrestlemania? If someone did it last year, they know its possible so it makes it more dramatic and tense for the Undertaker and not just "yep, Undertaker will win because its the streak".

| I like everything about this except Taker winning the rumble.
I'm sick of the streak. There's nothing exciting about watching a match which you already know the outcome. Having said that, what is so different about (pushing) Punk than, say -- Kane or Randy Orton. Those two would have made most sense. While I like the idea of finally gaining respect, it doesn't make sense to drag out the streak this long to end it because of the benefits it would bring unto the victor.

| I'm not saying the streak has been dragged out just to benefit someone. Anyone who has faced Undertaker has benefitted from the rub at WM, the buyrates have benefitted. I'm just saying it would be stupid to have Undertaker retire with a clean record, rather than giving the huge rub to someone else before he goes. | |

| They wouldn't end the streak for Punk.
For Ryback I think they would consider it because the push it would give him going forward but doubt it.
They would probably only end with the idea that they could build the next big superstar to go forward and replace Cena,Punk, and the rest.

| I am in the same sort of boat as NCD.
I am tired of the streak too...because it is lame knowing the outcome of a match...Only in the last 3/4 WM's (vs HBK and HHH) has it actually been interesting to watch, cos you would expect one of those to do it.
I know WWE can be easily predicted outcome wise. But the only prediction that is ever 100% guaranteed is seemingly Taker winning at WM.
The tough thing is, is finding someone to end the streak...Now I am not completely for Punk doing it, and I certainly don't want Cena doing it. I would really want a young guy that actually NEEDS this win to end it. Cena and Punk don't need this under their belt...but a guy like Cody Rhodes or Miz or Drew Mcintyre...the guys that just can't seem to break in to, or maintain a ME level push.
I would really have to see how I feel about Taker's streak ending if it ever happens.
As for the Royal Rumble...he doesn't need it, and he doesn't need a World title match at WM....his matches are main event enough, without the need for a title....you need to save that title slot for others.
I still say Kane is due a Rumble win...but seeing as this Hell No stuff is really taking off. I doubt that will ever happen..shall always remain a dream though ha.
