Hulk Hogan announced Monday in Tampa, Florida that he is seeking $100 million in damages from Gawker.com related to the website leaking footage of a sex tape with Heather Clem, the ex-wife of Bubba the Love Sponge.
Hogan, through his attorney, did not say what damages he is seeking from Bubba, who he plans to file a separate lawsuit against for allegedly recording the sex act. According to the lawsuit, which was reported by TMZ, Hogan claims Bubba's actions were "illegal, outrageous, and exceeded the bounds of human decency."
Hogan wants the footage destroyed and his attorney, David Houston, said they will seek additional damages against anyone who republishes the footage. | |
