| -- After three of four U.S. Senate debates, former WWE CEO Linda McMahon is now trailing Democratic candidate Chris Murphy in two new polls released this week. According to a new Siena Research Institute Poll, Murphy leads 46 to 44 percent. The poll director says the difference is within the margin of error, making it a virtual tie.
However, a new UConn/Hartford Courant poll cited by BusinessWeek shows a wider margin for Murphy at 44 to 38 percent. 17 percent remain undecided. The key for McMahon will be trying to reach undecided voters, who are favoring McMahon over Murphy at this stage, according to the Siena poll.
