(1) Sin Cara beat "El Local" (actually Ricardo Rodriguez under a mask). Very disapointing.
After the match, The Miz attacked Sin Cara on the stage, then cut a promo in French, saying he would defeat Kofi Kingston for the IC Title later.
Prime Time Players cut a video promo about their match against the Usos.
(2) "Simply" Johnny Curtis beat Ted DiBiase. Lots of cheers for DiBiase, but no one around me knew who Curtis was. His victory killed the crowd.
Tony Chimmel asked the crowd to tweet if they wanted Ricardo Rodriguez to be allowed ringside for the Randy Orton vs. Alberto Del Rio match later on.
(3) Kaitlyn beat Natalya.
(4) Randy Orton beat Alberto Del Rio (Rodriguez was allowed ringside).
[Intermission]
(5) Wade Barrett beat William Regal (who wrestled as a face).
(6) IC champion Kofi Kingston beat The Miz to retain the Intercontinental Title. Match of the night.
(7) Sheamus beat World Hvt. champion Big Show via DQ; Big Show retained the World Title. Big Show was disqualified for shoving the ref away. After the match, Sheamus hit the Brogue Kick.
Overall, an average show. Disapointing undercard, but solid main events. | |
