Something amusing I just found

High winds, lots of rain and flooding is British Summertime on the whole.


I realise Hurricane Sandy has caused a lot of damage and countless people have been affected, so I hope the East Coast based members on here have been ok.

I find it amusing that they used a fake picture (the one with the sky is fake), and not real ones.

The second picture is really quite shocking.

I didn't realise the image was faked, I've seen it around a lot and thought it was real. Apologies if it seems I'm making out it wasn't as bad as people think, because I don't think that, espcially not after seeing those pictures.

I didn't mean to come off as a dick, but people are acting like it was just a little water, but it destroyed cities.

That's how someone found out the picture was fake.

I knew it had caused power cuts and what not, and I know it had caused extensive damage, didn't realise the extensive damage was inclusive of lost cities. Apologies if I've come across as a bit of a dick.

As I said earlier, hope all the East Coast members weren't too affected by Sandy.

Not as bad as some Natural Disasters, but just one is bad enough.

I was watching Raw when one of the Con-Ed transformers exploded. I heard the explosion and saw the sky light up. Minutes later, The lights were out and one of my neighbors was telling a group of us in the hallway the water was waist-deep. Fortunately, the water receded in our area by morning.

Never seen anything like it. From the wind gusts to the amount of water to how dark and cold it was all at once.
