Retired WWE star Edge (Adam Copeland) fielded several WWE-related questions Thursday morning on Twitter:
-- Copeland pointed to a lack of incentive as one of the main reasons why several WWE Divas have left the company this year.
Asked on Twitter what he thinks about women's wrestling these days, Copeland replied, "I don't think they get a shot, and that's why most leave. No incentive." Copeland is currently dating Beth Phoenix, who parted ways with WWE last month.
-- Although doctors tell Copeland that he will never be cleared to wrestle again, he said that he would want to face Christian or "Stone Cold" Steve Austin if he could have one more match.
-- Something that goes unnoticed when thinking about Edge's history of neck injuries is the impact on his body performing the trademark Spear on opponents.
Asked if the TLC matches were the main cause of his neck problems that caused him to retire, Copeland replied, "That and the spears over the years." | |
