11-26-12 Raw Rating Breakdown Revealed *Posted 12-6-12* Raw_Wide

http://pwtorch.com/artman2/publish/WWE_News_3/article_66889.shtml

WWE Raw on Monday, November 26 scored a 2.72 rating, which was the same as last week's rating.

- Raw averaged 3.92 million viewers, which was up slightly (two percent) compared to last week's average of 3.84 million viewers. It was the first time since mid-October that back-to-back episodes averaged fewer than four million viewers.

The key to Raw falling below the four-million mark was another poor third hour performance. Raw's third hour averaged 3.49 million viewers, which was the fewest third hour viewers since October 22 when Raw scored a 2.5 overall rating.

Hourly Break Down: 4.15 million first hour viewers, 4.13 million second hour viewers, and a 15 percent drop-off to 3.48 million third hour viewers.

The final hour drop-off was the steepest during the three-hour era. It marked the 15th consecutive week and 18th week out of 19 weeks to see a third-hour drop-off.

- On cable TV Monday night, Raw ranked #3 in overall viewers behind ESPN's Monday Night Football game, which averaged a lackluster 10.7 million viewers, and History's "Pawn Stars," which beat Raw with 4.6 million viewers.

In the key male demos, Raw held off Pawn Stars to finish #2 behind football.

- One year ago, Raw scored a 3.23 rating and averaged 4.48 million viewers for a two-hour show.

Caldwell's Analysis: Same thing. The third hour is hurting Raw immensely. WWE tried a John Cena match at the top of the third hour, but if that match held viewership interest, it certainly did not help retain viewers for the remainder of the hour leading into a poorly-promoted RawActive main event of C.M. Punk vs. Kane.

- Due to the Thanksgiving holiday we're just now getting the breakdown for the November 26th RAW which did a 2.73 rating with 3.91 million viewers - tying the November 19th show for the fifth lowest rated non-holiday episode of the last 5 years.

Alicia Fox vs. Tamina Snuka gained 46,000 viewers. The segment with John Cena, Vickie Guerrero, AJ Lee and Dolph Ziggler plus Tensai vs. Kofi Kingston gained 90,000 viewers which could be the lowest 9pm gain since RAW went to three hours.
