The New Year's Eve holiday edition of WWE Raw on December 31, 2012 scored a 2.31 rating, slightly up from a 2.21 rating on Christmas Eve. It was the second-lowest-rated show of the year behind Christmas Eve.
Raw showed more improvement in average viewership. Raw averaged 3.55 million viewers, up 13 percent from 3.14 million viewers on Christmas Eve. However, Raw remained well-below the three-hour Raw average of 4.00 million viewers.
Hourly Break Down: 3.39 million first hour viewers, 3.64 million second hour viewers, and 3.61 million third hour viewers, which meant The Streak continued.
The Streak is Raw viewership declined from the second to third hour for the 20th consecutive week and 23rd week out of 24 weeks during the three-hour Raw era.
On cable TV Monday night, Raw ranked #4 in overall viewers behind ESPN's Chick-Fil-A Bowl game, the pre-game show on ESPN, and an airing of "Despicable Me" on Disney Channel.
