Madusa To Appear At Raws 20th Anniversary?

Madusa, who now works as a monster truck driver, will be at the Monster Jam show in Houston, Texas this weekend, and revealed on Twitter that she plans to stick around for the 20th anniversary episode of Raw.

She wrote: “Houston this saturday for monster jam and WWE Monday nite raw! (sic)”

The former star appeared on some of the earliest episodes of the Monday night stalwart, before infamously defecting to WWE’s rival, WCW, and threw the then-WWF Women’s Championship in a trash can live on Monday Nitro.

Madusa would certainly be a blast from the past on the big 20th anniversary episode and something different, especially after we saw Trish Stratus and Lita return for the show’s 1,000th episode back in July.

In 2012, Madusa revealed that she was still in posession of the old WWF Women’s Championship — the same one she infamously tossed in the trash — and wanted to return to WWE to face now retired Diva, Beth Phoenix, for the title.

She was also reportedly contacted last year to film interviews for the WWE Network.

That Doesn't matter there were women like her fighting for this belt and has brung so much history for the belt.And for her to throw that shit in the trash like that was really disrespectful and she lost all my respect for her.We haven't had a women's divison because the bitch threw the Divison in the trash can.But thanks to Sable we got it back so fuck her.

It doesnt matter TODAY because the division is stronger than it was in 1995....thats like saying fans are still holding grudges on Warrior for trying to walk out during Summerslam '91 because he wanted a bigger payday from the main event.

put the devision on hold? I'm sorry but from what I saw in that devision back from 94-96 it was kinda lame anyway....this was at the time where you would have random Japan superstars appear on the show.

This just proves how ignorant you are. Jacqueline kick started the division not Sable or Sunny, Jacqueline was crowned the first womens champ since its reactivation.

If WWE had such a great division in 1996 they could have easily brought back the womens title then. Why did they wait to 1997? Because the division was worse than it is nowdays.

No, models didnt start the takeover of the division until a few years ago. And again, you're acting as if the belt being thrown away completely killed the division. It didnt. When the Women's title came back it kept the original history of past title reigns, including Madusa's. Nothing died, there was no new era of wrestling. Also, Sunny was never a wrestler, she was always a valet. I dont see the need to complain about something that happened in 1995, when the divas division of today should be whats complained about. Suck it up, move on
