- COLUMBUS, Ohio - A southwest side neighborhood feud erupted into violence on Saturday.
Police said two households with a history of arguing were found fighting on Vanderberg Avenue around 4 pm.
Officers said a verbal confrontation escalated into a physical one. The people involved used several different objects as weapons, including a sword.
Shots were fired into the air by one person to try to break up the fight, according to police.
One person was taken to a hospital with cuts from a sword.

Our kids were outside playing when this happened and heard the shots, which scared the shit out of them all. Luckily the kids seemed fine a short time later. The gunshots just sorta startled them. We took them out to dinner later. the guy who got cut with the sword got sliced right across the head. I'm still shocked at all of this...mainly that 2 guys were fucking sword fighting in the first place. | |
