TNA World Hvt. champion Jeff Hardy is off the U.K. Tour, TNA announced Saturday. Sting will replace him.
TNA posted on their U.K. Facebook page: "TNA regrets to inform our fans in the U.K. and Ireland that Jeff Hardy will not be on the Road To Lockdown Tour, due to an injury sustained on the TNA Impact Wrestling show on January 18."
TNA continued, "However we are delighted to announce that 'The Icon' Sting will be replacing Jeff at the TNA live events in Dublin, Glasgow, Nottingham, Manchester, and London."
During Friday's Impact TV taping in Orlando, Hardy was temporarily written off television to explain his absence during the next month of television, as TNA will be taping four episodes of Impact during the U.K. Tour.
Already added to the TV taping dates in Manchester and London are Hulk Hogan and Brooke Hogan. Plus, the cast members from TNA's "British Bootcamp" show. | |
