Justice League could be in real trouble. The film was aiming for a 2015 release date, however it was recently reported that Warner Brothers will wait to see how Man of Steel does before they commit any further to the project. According to Bad Ass Digest, and their multiple sources, the script that Will Beall put together for the film is just flat out terrible. So terrible that some of the sources are telling them WB is losing faith in the project, and might scrap it altogether. However, other sources say that they aren't ready to throw in the towel and concede to Marvel just yet.
The script is said to center around Darkseid, and contain the five core members of the Justice League (pictured to the left) that were reported. The sources are saying that the script is "half-baked from the beginning", and has constantly added and subtracted heroes outside the main five. With the script being so terrible, WB has found them selves at a loss for getting directors involved. Which is why no one has signed on for the film.
None of this is confirmed at the moment so take this with a grain of salt until official confirmation comes out. Like stated above Warner Brothers will be leaning heavily on Man Of Steel to see what direction they should take Justice League. So, until Man Of Steel comes out, it looks like all we will have to work with are just rumors and speculation. For the latest on Justice League, make sure to check back here at CBM.
