WWE Raw on Monday, February 18 following the Elimination Chamber PPV scored a 3.30 rating, up four percent from a 3.16 rating last week leading into the PPV.
Raw remained well-below the post-Royal Rumble ratings of a 3.68 on January 28 and 3.56 rating on Feb. 4.
- Raw averaged 4.66 million viewers, up nine percent from an average of 4.26 million viewers leading into the PPV.
Hourly Break Down: 4.82 million first hour viewers for immediate PPV fall-out, 4.67 million second hour viewers, and 4.49 million third hour viewers.
For the sixth consecutive week, Raw's viewership declined from the second to third hour. It marks 29 out of 31 weeks during the three-hour Raw era where this has occurred.
- On cable TV Monday night, Raw ranked #2 in overall viewers behind "Pawn Star" on History Channel. Raw ranked #1 in all key male demographics.
- Looking back to 2012, last year's post-Chamber rating was a 3.24 rating (vs. 3.30 this week). The 2012 show averaged 4.63 million viewers (vs. 4.66 million viewers this week) for a two-hour show.
Caldwell's Analysis: Solid number, but perhaps not as significant of a bump that WWE would have liked. I don't think anyone was expecting a 3.68 rating like the night after the Royal Rumble, but it appears the lack of buzz coming out of the Chamber PPV affected Raw viewership the next night. | |
