The 2013 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony to be held during Wrestlemania 29 weekend at Madison Square Garden is officially sold out. Ticketmaster noted that tickets for the event are unavailable as of this week. Additional tickets are expected to be released by WWE. The ceremony on 4/6 will feature the inductions of Bruno Sammartino, Mick Foley, Bob Backlund and Trish Stratus.
WWE is currently paying WWE Hall of Fame inductees $5,000 for their appearance and induction into the Hall of Fame. WWE is paying their inductors $2,500.

Bruno Sammartino revealed in a recent interview that he was being paid $5,000 to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year. This has remained the usual price for those entering WWE's Hall of Fame with presenters receiving $2,500. While Sammartino was accurate in making the figure public, the deal he actually agreed to with WWE was closer to a "Wrestlemania top star payoff".
While the actual figure isn't known, it isn't believed to be at the levels of what a John Cena, Brock Lesnar or The Rock would receive. However, Sammartino is definitely getting much more to be part of the Hall of Fame than anyone to date. He is also expected to be featured as a character in the new WWE 2K14 video game. | |
