-- After releasing seven people last week, WWE will be releasing more talent soon. The company is opening a new Performance Center on July 1 and are actively recruiting new talent. There are plans to let go people who have been spending a lot of time in developmental without showing any improvement. This includes Derrick Bateman, who has been in developmental for years but has not shown he was ready for the main roster.
The releases that surprised the most people were Briley Pierce and Audrey Marie. | |

She's a wall flower not a Diamond really. Honestly why wasn't there potential in Derek Batemen? They should just say they don't have any idea what to do with them. Since a lot of those guys seem to have some potential and some are ready, they just don't know what to do with them. | |

No Johnny Curtis won Season 4 and Bateman was added as a competitor mid way through the 5th season [which was a 'redemption' season] but it never had a winner it just became what NXT is today.. | |
