TMZ reports that Paris Jackson will be in treatment for months, as she is currently suffering from a severe case of depression.
Her family has ignored law enforcement claims that her suicide attempt earlier this month was a "cry for help". When the bandages on her arm were removed ,the damage was said to be "horrifying". A source said: "Paris absolutely tried to kill herself, and it wasn't the first time."
Jackson is also into the world of cutting. Her Tumblr account shows photos of death, suicide and cutting. Several photos have teenagers with guns in their mouths. The photos are graphic and bloody. Several photos have young girls after cutting themselves and feature blood everywhere. In one, a girl is cutting her arm with scissors. It features the caption: "I f**king hate myself."
Another has an arm with writing over the cutting area that says: "Suicide slice here."
In one, a piece a paper is shown with the words "Why did you try to kill yourself". The response is, "You told me to be happy."
Jackson may have tried to reach out for help, because there are several other posts which are against cutting.
She's said to be "doing better" at the UCLA Medical Center, but is in denial and fighting therapy. She doesn't want to cut herself again, but professionals have told the family to find out what triggered the incident in the first place. She will move from UCLA to another treatment center and could be there for three months.
