Rob Van Dam's short-term contract with WWE is set to expire in a few weeks following the Battleground PPV.
According to sources, WWE has already offered RVD a new deal and he has yet to accept that deal as of now.

I ain't sure I heard his contract was expiring before I heard it's a weird set up where he signed only for a couple months so if he don't like the direction it is going he can quit.
