According to F4WOnline.com, Rob Van Dam's current WWE deal is set to expire at the end of this week, and it's expected that he will be finishing up his current run with the company after his contract is done.
As we previously reported, RVD's contract with WWE allows him to work 90 day periods then take time off from the company, so while his current run in WWE is coming to an end, this will likely be a hiatus for RVD similar to the way Chris Jericho works.
For what it's worth, WWE is not advertising RVD for tonight's Raw broadcast or tomorrow's Smackdown tapings.
As we reported earlier today, Christian is being advertised to face Alberto Del Rio at upcoming house show events, so that could be a sign as to where WWE is headed with the World Title.
