Capcom has revealed sales figures and projections for some of its biggest franchises.
Following on from yesterday's news that Resident Evil 5 is now the company's best-selling game, additional insight has been released about more recently launched titles.
In the six months beginning April 2013, it appears that Lost Planet 3 was outsold globally by Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen. While the latter managed to sell 650,000 units worldwide, it transpires that the latest entry in the Lost Planet franchise sold just 300,000.
Looking to the future, Capcom is projecting sales of 1.2 million for its Xbox One exclusive, due out worldwide when the console launches on November 22.
It's a fairly optimistic figure seeing as it comes at the start of the console cycle where the install base is limited, and the company has opted to release on just one platform. Seeing as EA predicted around 5 million Xbox Ones would be shipped by the end of March 2014, a fairly high percentage of console owners would have to pick up the title if Capcom's to hit its targets.
